Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly looking to leave Al Nassr just months after joining the Saudi club from Manchester United.

The Portuguese superstar amicably agreed to end his contract with United following his bombshell interview with Piers Morgan.

The 38-year-old then agreed a £175m-a-year deal until 2025 with the Saudi Arabian giants.

However, according to El Nacional, Real Madrid now appear ready to offer Ronaldo a non-playing role as ambassador.

The Spanish outlet said: “Florentino Perez guaranteed that [Ronaldo] there will be no shortage of work at the Santiago Bernabeu.

“But of course he wouldn’t do it to be a player because he feels it’s a cycle that should be considered closed.”

Ronaldo’s partner Georgina Rodriguez is said to be longing to return to the Spanish capital, where the couple met.

Ronaldo is a club legend at Real Madrid, having scored 451 goals in 438 games during his time at the Bernabeu.

He has won four Champions League crowns, three Club World Cups and UEFA Super Cups apiece, two LaLiga titles, two Copas del Rey and two Spanish Super Cups with the LaLiga giants.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has scored 12 goals in as many league games for Al Nassr so far this season.

He scored after just four minutes as Al Nassr secured a 3-0 home win over Al Raed on Friday.

Al Nassr, second in the Saudi Pro League, went three points clear of Al Ittihad with the win despite the leaders being a game behind.

Ronaldo gave Al Nassr the lead with a header when he found Sultan Al Ghannam’s cross.
